Addo Elephant Back Safaris & Lodge
Situated in the pristine valleys of the Zuurberg mountains, bordering the Greater Addo Elephant National Park. This area is is regarded as Africa's most biologically diverse, supporting four of the seven biomes or Eco-regions in Southern Africa.
The tented lodge is situated in pristine indigenous forest within our conservancy. All game drives, game walks and elephant back safaris are conducted in our conservancy which has a variety of game species. The elephant ride and walk will allow the guests to observe the elephant's habits in their natural surroundings. Enjoy the thrill of observing these gentle giants at their favourite waterhole where you will be able to relax and watch the elephants wallow. All your meals are served overlooking this unique site.

25 February 2015"<p>The whole experience was wonderful. The standard of the lodges was to die for. Spacious, clean, had everything and no TV, hurrah. Staff were informative, helpful, polite, what more can you say. The safari by Jeep and by elephant were better than any expectation. Food was cooked to order, and good. Only comment would be to add fruit to every meal.</p><p>The best thing ever was, going back to the lodge to go to bed after dinner and it was quite chilly, to get into bed and find it had been heated by an electric blanket! Also to wake in bed to see giraffes, elephants and zebras. Beyond great.</p>"
