Matyholweni Rest Camp Addo Elephant National Park SANParks

Matyholweni, which means in the bush in Xhosa, is located near the coastal town of Colchester at the Sundays River Mouth, 3 km off the N2 highway. Matyholweni is easily accessible and provides a second gateway into the park. Amenities such as shops, restaurants and a fuel station are available in the nearby town.

PLEASE NOTE: the rates are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Quotes will include the 1% Community Levy, but will exclude daily conservation fees, which are to be paid directly to camp on arrival.

    "Everything was perfect except the braai grid which is designed to slide around as well as up and down so that one can adjust the level at which one prefers to braai. The up and down aduster was so rusted that it could not be moved. Most annoying. Otherwise a very well run camp.<br />"
