Sweet Fountain Cottage

Sweet Fountain Cottage offers private self-catering accommodation located on a working crop- and cattle farm, in Bathurst.

The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds and a shared bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen that leads through to the open-plan living area, where the large windows provide clear views of the beautiful garden.

The swimming pool and braai facilities are just a short distance away from the cottage, set in a leafy section of the garden. The property is fully fenced in, providing safe and secure parking for guests.

Bathurst is known as the pineapple capital of South Africa. A must-see tourist stop is the 16.7 m fibreglass pineapple structure located on the outskirts of town.

"Great farm accommodation. The 3-km gravel road was a bit pot-holed after the recent rains, but that is not something that the owners can do much about. For the rest, the cottage had everything we needed."

"We stayed over for one night only. The cottage is very well equiped and comfortable. A lovely garden and fabulous bird life. The host Jane is most charming and welcoming. Will definitely try to spend more time here soon. Highly recommended if you want to get away from it all."

"We absolutely loved staying at Sweet Fountain Cottage. It was very comfortable and complete. The cottage has the best location, just ten minutes drive away from Bathurst and a 15 minute drive to the beach in Port Alfred. Our children loved playing with the three dogs. The owners were very helpful."
