Meyerspoort Karoo Farm

The farm Meyerspoort is located 50 km south of Beaufort West. It offers accommodation in a well-restored and luxuriously furnished old farmhouse on the banks of the Plaatjies River. The house offers accommodation for a family of eight.

The house has comfortable furniture with leather couches and an old farm-style ambience. The main living area has ample seating and a TV with DStv. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and offers all modern appliances. The spacious patio offers a quiet place to relax and enjoy the Karoo and spectacular views. Guests are sure to enjoy a million stars filling the sky at night.

This is a uniquely Karoo experience to share with family and friends on a working sheep farm. The farm mainly produces Karoo lamb, but there is also a small-scale fruit production and various fruits are available in season.

"Everything at the house was in order and clean. The directions to the house as you indicate it is different to how to get to the house. That road is closed. So please make sure that your directions and the real ones is the same. We drove at night and had a hard time finding it and no one was answering their phones to help us."
