  "The bathrooms look terrible. No where to place your clothes or toiletries. They are so dirty and stink. Some mornings there was barely water coming out of the showers. Pools are very poorly design, so small with so many people inside. Say on website you can here the lions roar which is a lie. There is put put but no gear to play with. Very poor service at reception and shop."

  "We enjoyed our stay very much , pictures on the net do not do justice to the place, the place is just wow and huge, the staff is helpful and friendly ,the chalets are clean , they just need to have a look at the pipes tho , water was flooding not so sure from where but overall my friends and I had a pleasant stay"

  "<p>Thaba Monate is not up to standard - especially taking the rates into consideration. Chalets are dirty, dilapidated and sparingly equipped.</p><p>Tennis court is falling apart - net torn.</p><p>Cold water swimming pool without water.</p><p>It is an overpriced and overrated place.</p><p>Definitely not recommended for a family getaway</p><p></p><p></p>"

  "We went as a group. The place is very nice but what i found disturbing is the fact that the stuff were not polite at the reception. If you going to run a business of dealing with people the least you could do is to be polite as it makes it easier for the guest to communicate with you. The only helpful person we found the was the security guard at the gate who went out of his way to help us out with a smile on his face. Pity i didn't get his name."

  "We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful terrain. Sometimes there was no toilet paper in the toilet, and a few hours later, still not. Our neighbours took there DStv with and I really didn't appreciate hearing TV at 7 in the mornings. Perhaps consider a separate small area for TV addicts. I know that's not always in you control. I did not like people smoking inside, in an open area, where we had to go, when we went to the shop. The stock in the shop was very low, not always bread, no ice cream on 30 December."

  "The place was fine and we had fun as planned, the only challenge we had as couples were the single beds (which are not join-able) in an open passage and as a result we had to book another unit to accommodate every couple in a proper room. Vodacom network is non existent."

  "We had a pleasant stay in a 3 bed chalet. Although one can see these chalets were built 25 years back it is very clean and neat. I would like seeing them upgrade the bathrooms and linen. Nice people/staff. Manager Pierre very professional and customer orientated. I will most definitely visit them again."
