Santih Self-catering

Santih is a well-equipped family cottage on a Private Estate with 24 hour security. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Natures peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees, while cares drop off like autumn leaves.

The cottage offers guest three comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed as well as an en-suite bathroom. Two other bedrooms have two single beds each, and a second shared bathroom, has a bath and a shower. The open-plan kitchen and living area make for convivial evenings, especially in winter, when the gas fireplace makes drinking red wine a must. In summer, fire up the built-in barbecue and enjoy eating outside on the spacious patio with breathtaking views over the lake at the Drakensberg Sun. The cottage has full DStv. All roads are tarred and there are many activities within easy distance from the cottage. Situated safely from the road, Santih has two terraces down and an attractive garden, so your children can play outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Santih has the Drakensberg World Heritage Site at its doorstep. There are numerous walks, ranging from easy half-hour strolls to strenuous hikes. Guests can indulge in locally sourced crafts; KwaZulu-Natal Weavers is nearby, cuisine Assegai coffee is locally sourced, and various spas. Horse-riding, quad-biking, rafting, falconry and world-class mountain bike trails are available in the valley, as is South Africas longest canopy tour.
