  "We stayed here because it was close to the Spionkok Battlefield and the Royal Natal Park. Hospitality,meals and service was great. The only problem we had was finding the hotel from the directions given on the website. The roadside signing and directions supplied needs to be improved.Access road may be difficult in wet weather."

  "Accommodation was adequate with all in working order. Dinner was not the best, but this can be expected when ordering from a set menu at an establishment that does not have huge numbers coming through the doors. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared with a good continental spread.<div><br /></div><div>The Sandford Park is blessed with exceptional staff, friendly, efficient and always ready to go the extra mile!</div>"

  "Rooms are a little "tired" but are clean and have all the necessities. The hotel is a little dated, but the staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Dinner was affordable and good quality. Breakfast was more than sufficient and pleasant. Most of all I did not feel feeling cheated or ripped-off. A good stay."

  "I booked a couple's package and both me and my wife had a pleasant stay at Sandford Park. The property is very beautiful and the rooms are quite spacious and well ventilated. But, the best part of the stay was the friendly staff and the large layout of breakfast. Will definitely visit again!"

  "Friendly staff, food was good except Hindu meals were not catered for Sunday's dinner. High noise level from the bar on Sat night until 4.30am on Sunday morning. I had to call manager at 3.30am to complain. Cupboards were not clean. A pleasant stay overall. Thank you!"

  "It was a splendid vacation. A destination that was filled with warmth and understanding. It is central to tourist attractions. A definite return.   "We were returning after having stayed there previously, several years back. we loved the hotel and surrounding area and always said we would go back one day.It still has that appeal for us and i am sure we will return again. The rooms ,food and service were superb. To finish the day in the cosy pub was nice.Left feeling 3 nights (for the 2nd time) was not enough."

  "This was our first visit to the Drakensberg. I was very impressed with the friendly staff at Sandford Park.The food was great and we enjoyed every meal. The bed could have been a little more comfortable. I would return any given time and the only change I would make is to book in an executive room which has a view."

  "We had a lovely quiet, relaxing 4 days at Sandford.The staff were excellent in every way possible from our arrival, when our room got partially flooded and assisting in finding a missing piece of clothing, we could not have asked for better, more friendly staff.The old section is mostly well cared for but we felt that the lounge area was in need of a good spruice up e.g. spit, polish and shampoo.Also the towels could do with being renewed but apart from that everything was great, the food was excellent and we would certainly recommend our friends to pay Sandford a visit."

Equally the dining room was cold, particularly in the mornings, and guests were having to wear outdoor clothes to eat their meals. The service was very good but choice of evening meals was very limited."
