Palm Dune Beach Lodge is a rare find on the sought-after Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, situated less than a 30-minute drive from the King Shaka International Airport.

The lodge is nestled on a pristine stretch of beach, just 55 km north of Durban. Guests can enjoy expansive golden beaches and the warmth of the Indian Ocean while soaking up the sun.

Palm Dune boasts 40 en-suite rooms that are air-conditioned and two conference facilities holding up to 200 people. We have two swimming pools, a restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean, as well as a private decked boma area for intimate weddings, braais and dinners.

"Our stay was very pleasant. The rooms and amenities were satisfactory.<div>The service we received from Sbu was absolutely OUTSTANDING! He was always around with a huge big smile ready to help. What an incredible star, and a massive asset to the Lodge. Don't take him for granted, as we felt he had very little to no support. George, was also very helpful, and Lindo, who was obviously very new did his best. But other than that, Sbu was left to do everything, everyday. It seemed like he never got a day off. This is not acceptable for a 4 star establishment. Especially over the peak season you should have more than enough staff to effectively and efficiently run the lodge. We felt there was a glaring lack of management. Sometimes the rooms weren't cleaned, and often we were left running around looking for tea and coffee.</div><div>So, 10 stars for Sbu, and 3 stars for the lodge.</div><div>All round a pleasant stay though.</div>"
