  "A lovely lady greated us and was very friendly and helpful and we felt at home and safe. Beautiful view of the surrounding areas and were told of the many old historical areas to visit in the area. We had everything we needed and beds were comfy!"

  "We really enjoyed our short stay. Dillys made every effort to make us feel at home and comfortable. I would recommend the cottage with confidence that it would be enjoyed. The view from the hilltop is breathtaking and the gardens beautiful. Very nice braai area as well which was well stocked with wood."

  "The room was lovely. The Landlady very friendly. Really nice place. But the Breakfast needs a bit attention no question what you like or how you would like it and only one cup of powder coffee in a very dark airless room while it's so beautiful outside."

  "What a welcome oases after a long day on the road. Dillys made us feel so at home and small touches like home made rusks and cookies in the room was a real treat. She had a baby bath available for our 7 month old , and the dinner we had was stunning. Well worth the little detour of the N12"

  "<div>Just would like to say that the service we received at Rosedale Guest house Cottage was really amazing. My father is 86 years of age and has to use a walker and he even said it was so special. Thank you for the lovely extra treatment which you would never get anywhere else. meaning the home made rusks and sweets on the dressing</div><div>table, the clean towels in the bathroom. warm shower and also the neatness and lovely clean linen on the beds - mattress great. sleeping facilities no one can complain about.</div><div>My husband and I love the out doors and having a braai outside and the wood was given to us. As for the amazing stars it is something we will never forget. Thank you so much it was a special time for us. We will definitely come again. Yours sincerely Marilyn and Sam Jacobs.</div>"

  "Our overnight stay at Rosedale was lovely. We loved the remoteness, the silence, and the incredible star-gazing opportunity so unique to parts of the Karoo. Dillys is a great hostess and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Dinner was a home-cooked extravaganza (with a special vegetarian bake added for me), and the little touches in the room, like the home-baked cookies, was really special. The only criticism we could possibly have was that the room (being built primarily of stone) stayed incredibly (sweat-dripping) hot the whole night - only cooling down in the early hours of the morning probably because we resorted to sleeping with the door and all the windows open. There are standing fans in the room, but they had little effect. Other than that, a perfectly excellent stay."

  "A little house with a most amazing view! Dyllis was an incredible host, and told us about the area which she is clearly passionate about. The cottage is small - just a bedroom and bathroom, but more than suitable. A door between the bathroom and bedroom would be nice - at present just a curtain. Although it is situated close to the main house, it was never a problem for us. There was even a small porta-pool to cool off in. A really wonderful place."
