  "From our warm welcome from Lizette on Thursday evening, to our reluctant departure on Sunday morning, our stay at Blue Gum Farm Cottage was just wonderful. The cottage is perfectly equipped, comfortable, cosy and beautifully situated with a view of the fields and distant mountains. There is a fireplace indoors and a braai with grid (and light!) outside. Even though it was cold we couldn't resist sitting outside for hours at the table, enjoying the view and the fresh air and playing ball games on the lawn. We also took several day trips to nearby towns, including Arniston, Napier, Greyton and the enchanting Genadendal. Coming back to 'our' cottage every afternoon was always a pleasure. Our three-year-old loved the games, toys and sweets that were so thoughtfully provided, and the adults enjoyed special sweet treats on our pillows too! This cottage is among the loveliest we have stayed in, and we have done a fair number of self-catering holidays around South Africa. Thank you, Lizette, for a very special farm stay!"

  "if you want a supremely clean, modern, but quietcountryside get away, this is what you need. We enjoyed the absolute quite no-traffic anywhere overnight stay. The owner's friendly instructions and good communication made it easy to locate. I we could, we would have stayed longer. (No TV. forces one to talk and spend time together, instead of looking at a screen all the time - bad habit)"

  "This cottage is surrounded by beautiful valleys of fields of colour.It is so tranquil here at Blue Gum that it was a pity we didn't stay longer.Lizette has put so much love and care into this cottage; it has everything you need and the bed is extremely comfortable.Very clean, spacious and well-decorated, it felt luxurious!Definitely a place to unwind and catch up with your partner or friends.I can't wait to return."
