  "Loved the stay. Great place. Quiet, walking distance from the "hussle and bussle" of the midst of town. Clean rooms, lovely decor, lovely scenery. Missed my sport channel on the rugby though, so I had to watch SA playing Pumas in a "second rated pub" (with respect). Never the less...all was well. Us Namibians are just a more friendly towards our patrons...nothing specific...but....I miss that."

  "Rooikat's single bedroom cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and well stocked. The stoep is cosy and we were able to braai even though it rained. Plently of boardgames kept us busy =) It is set in the most beuatiful surroundings but is very close to the market square and shops and restaurants. Mrs Clarke received us warmly and is very professional in the manner in which she runs this establishment. Rooikat is my favourite place to stay in Clarens."

  "We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at Rooikat Cottage. The accommodation was attractively decorated with every home comfort and we so enjoyed the view of the mountain and garden together with the covered stoep and braai area. A really beautiful and peaceful place to stay. It was an easy waqlk to the town square where all the galleries, shops and eating places are situated. I have no hesitation in recommending that you stay here. Trudy made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful with advice and guidance as to what to see and do in the area."

  "The Rooikat Facility is of very high standard. Reception was very friendly and we felt at home from the outset.<br />The accommodation was very clean and the house was fully equipped.<br />However, out vehicle was stolen on our first night at Rooikat.A suggestion would be to have additional protection installed to prevent a similar incident. A motion detector that gives audible warning could work.<br />"

It is less than a 3 minute walk to the town square and Trudy is very helpful and accommodating. It is also reasonably priced when compared with other accommodation in the area."
