  "Perfect location. Lovely modern room and en suite. Only down side was the noise from the fridges going on & off during night. Jane said this will be sorted out later. If not for that we would have giving 5* to all."

  "Wow, this is such an amazing place to stay with prime location on the square and surprisingly not noisy. Just not having to search for parking on the square is enough to stay here. The rooms are extremely clean, stunningly modern fittings and in winter surprisingly extremely warm. The smells from the bakery may wake you in the morning which is something no one can complain about. We only got to test out the breakfast which was just the best so the lunches must be great. Thank you for being so accommodating and this is now our preferred place to stay when visiting Clarens from now on."

  "Lovely place and Jane is very helpful.A little noisy being on a main rd but delighful otherwise.<div>Didn't get the a chance to sample the lunch or dinner menu as we had to leave early but smelled and looked great.A little disappointed we didn't get any refund for not staying the full 3 nights having to leave due to family emergency so will not pay in full again before I see the establishments referred by Safari.</div><div><br /></div><div><span style="line-height: 1.5;"><br /></span></div>"

  "If you are looking for something neat, clean and relatively close to the main square, The Courtyard Cafe is a great find. It can be a little noisy during the day as it's right on the road but if, like most people, you do not plan to spend your entire trip to Clarens in your room then it really doesn't make much difference (our room was also road facing whereas the others weren't so that might not be the case for all rooms anyway...) Tempting baked goods in the cafe below, the option of secure parking at the back of the building, and free wifi were an added bonus - overall we were very happy with our stay - thank you!<br />"

  "We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at The Courtyard Cafe B&B. The B&B is located above the Courtyard Cafe, which serves delicious food, and it's only a few minutes walk from the Clarens town centre. All the rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Jane was very relaxed and accommodated all our requests. The only thing to keep in mind when selecting a room with a kitchen is that there is no oven or stove (only fridge and microwave) so don't expect them to be fully self catering."

  "What a lovely place to stay. Jane is extremely friendly, efficient, accommodating, and helpful. The room was comfortable and the food was great. Although the venue is not right in the town hub, it is still within a short walking distance of all amenities and activities. A wonderful stay, great value, and we will definitely be back."

  "We had a very relaxing stay at The Courtyard Caf. Our room (room 3) was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The Chicken Pies at the deli is delicious!The Courtyard Caf is situated roughly 500m walk uphill from the town center which could be seen as a negative, however probably not such a bad idea to walk off a big meal."

  "We had a comfortable stay at the Courtyard Cafe. Good quality beds fitted with electric blankets. Room nicely cleaned. Just a pity that house is not situated in town but next to the road passing Clarens. Another downer is that you can hear all the noises made by the guests in the room next to you. Our neighbours got up at 5am each morning. We could hear all their chatting and the water pipes also makes noises whenever someone opens a tap. We enjoyed the fireplace and the DSTV was a nice bonus. Unfortunately I will not stay at this establishment again."

  "We arrived at the Courtyard Cafe after 17h00 and did not exactly know where to go as there was no clear indication of where the reception was. We then met Jane in the shop - she took us to our very comfortable room. We reported a faulty toilet which was repaired within hours. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts. Will recommend the place to others and will hopefully revisit it again."

  "We stayed over at the Courtyard Cafe for an extended weekend recently. It was our first visit to Clarens and we did not know where to stay, so we took to the web to find a place. Hence, we booked at the Courtyard Cafe. What a brilliant setup! Felt like we were staying in a small piece of Europe. The owners are some of the best hosts I have ever had whilst staying over and the room was big, cozy and had everything you need - underfloor heating, fireplace, balcony, kitchenette, separate bedroom etc. The European-style cafe downstairs with the bakery was out of this world. The best seat next to the widow enticed you to stretch your breakfast to a second and third cup of coffee while you browse through a stack of magazines, discuss to-do options with the lovely hostess, or be tempted to try out an eye-catching slice of the best milk tart you will ever find. The home-made bread with locally produced Nagtergal jam was also a treat not to miss. We were sad to leave, but will most definitely return as soon as we can."
