  "We really enjoyed our stay. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great communication and directions. Only issue was the mosquitoes. Would be nice to have mozzie mats and fans in the room to help with them. Great location, had a lovely eakrybmorofin walks. Thank you for the lovely stay."

  "Carol was such a pleasant lady, and appreciated her hospitality so much..but unfortunately for me the pictures on safari did not do justice to the place. The slot of the door was broken and flimsy (hopefully this will be fixed soon) but as a single lady I did not feel 100% safe sleeping over. I had a crises at work as well, so chose to drive back and unfortunately I lost the R800 I paid for the two nights. This is just my opinion though, I read all the other reviews before I booked my stay and everyone else seemed happy. Still believe that Carol is an excellent hostess."

  "Siprised by every part of our stay. It was freezing cold at night but everything was taken care of. Heated blankets and heaters provided heat for the night. As it is not right in town it is away from the packed town. It is nice and quiet. Thank you for an amazing stay."

  "Ons het heerlik gebly. Die huis is fantasties toegerus. Die antieke meubels is 'n fees om na te kyk. Carol en haar personeel is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ons het elke dag vars blomme in die huis gekry en 'n vriendelike geselsie. Carol was heeltyd beskikbaar en jy kon haar enige tyd dag of nag skakel. Ek beveel die blyplek vir enige persoon met vrymoedigheid aan. Rustig, skoon en binne bereik van alles."

  "We had a wonderful stay and I can recommend this to anyone. Carol was a very good host and always available but not in your face. The cottage was perfect for us as a family with 2 small children. The gardens are lovely and our little two year old could entertain himself in there for hours 'helping' the staff do their work! Thanks for their patience! Overall we had an absolutely lovely and relaxing time and will go back anytime! Thanks a lot for a wonderful cottage holiday!"

  "Really a quaint and wonderfully eclectic experience staying in the cottage!The house lady is a gem and the facilities are what one should expect. Especially when looking for a cottage environment.One and only one request and that is to get the remote and all the decoder etc into the lounge! It is a little testing unwrapping oneself from the comfy of the couch and fire place and have to go to the kitchen everytime one wants to change the channel.Other than that, Carol is a great host and only to keen to assist, advise and share.Thanks for keeping it real!regardsGary Halfpenny.P.S.   "We had a wonderful time during our stay at Tmmerskraal.Everything was clean and neat and we felt very safe, Had a wonderful welcome from Carol's assistant and met Carol later that afternoon.Very private in the cottage that we preferred to the main house. We enjoyed the big garden which is very suitable for visitors with children.As far as we were concerned it is the nicest accommodation in Clarence and we really recommend it to anyone loving the outdoors and privacy!!Thanks Carol!"
