At Withycombe

Withycombe, built in 1903 in the Cape Dutch style offers four en-suite bedrooms. Guests have the use of the large lounge, salt water pool and outdoor areas for BBQ and relaxing. We offer English and Continental breakfasts Three of the rooms have mini kitchens should guests prefer to make their own meals and snack meals can be arranged.

We also arrange tours, car hire, restaurants and airport collections. The guesthouse is conveniently situated in the Constantia Valley for businessman and tourist alike. There is ample safe off road parking with original pergolas and stone pathways completing the ambience of the garden. Within walking distance, The Constantia Village shopping centre offers comprehensive seven days per week shopping. There are three food halls, travel agents, postal services, all Major Banks, a number of boutiques, sporting facilities and several upmarket restaurants.

Withycombe is on the Constantia Wine Route offering wine tasting together with several quality restaurants such as Uitsig, Buitenverwachting and we are close to six first class Golf Courses. Also within easy reach are the other attractions of the Cape Peninsula ranging from safe bathing on the pristine beaches of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, diving, boating, sailing, horse riding, biking, penguin, shark and whale watching to mountain and forest walks, scenic drives and helicopter flights. Then there are also the historical homes, museums, a world class aquarium and of course the V & A Waterfront. Gazania room is available on request.
