  "The owners Helen and Barend made our stay unforgettable. We felt part of the family right from the start, the cottage was tastefully decorated, the rooms cosy despite a distinct nip in the Midlands air and the environment perfectly suited to feeling calm. I was able to be active, taking the 10km MTB track while my son could just chill out in the beauty of the reserve near the homestead."

  "Crab Apple Cottages was definitely the "best for last". As the last place on our holiday, Crab Apple Cottages left us wanting to extend our stay longer than just one night. We felt welcomed from the first meeting with Barend and left feeling like family after watching Helen and her horses. The cottage was warm and had everything we needed. The small details noticed and will always be remembered. Next time we will stay for at least three days."

  "What an awesome special little piece of paradise! We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at the beautiful Crowned Eagle thatched cottage. The well-equipped and very private cottage has a stunning view over the valley and forest, gorgeous fireplace and even underfloor heating! Plus extra touches everywhere, from the chocolates on our pillows, fresh roses and beautiful card welcoming us in the bedroom - to name a few - proof of how much our warm and friendly hosts, Helen and Barend, care about everyone who stays with them. : )"

  "Helen was so amazing. Such a helpful lady and was accommodating in the fact that we had a wedding in the afternoon and she let us book in earlier. The cottage was neat and tidy and had a beautiful view. Definitely very tranquil and peaceful. Cute little fire place and we had coffee tea and hot chocolate provided. What more can you ask for.Would definitely recommend Crab Apple to people in the future."

  "We unfortunately only spent one night, but what a fabulous time we had. We were made to feel so welcome. The cottage was most comfortable and the walks were amazing. Underfloor heating was on and the electric blankets had even been switched on for us! Helen & Barend truly care for their guests. Thank you so much!"
