  "Kabbelrus is idiaal gele in die dorp. Dit is netjies met mooi fyn detail en alles wat mens nodig het. Ons het lekker gebly en sal dit weer kom besoek."

  "Everything was great. Only small issue was noise of trucks on road at night and wi-fi too weak/slow to use. No sharp/cutting knives in the kitchen. Back door sagging and struggled to close. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and very well-appointed cottage."

  "Loved the old world charm. Riaan and Sjaan were very hospitable. The garden is beautiful with a lovely view.The only negative is the noise of trucks coming past but it is a National Road so understand that nothing can be done. De Rust is a pretty little town and Meiringspoort Pass was the highlight."

  "The Sunbird unit is well suited for a family of 4. Two rooms and bathroom were neat and clean. The hosts give personal attention to guests and the details of the unit. Kettle and fridge available in room and the hosts made their own kitchen available for use. Quaint cottage lifestyle with a view of the mountains. <br/><br/>Establishments response:<br/><br/>Thank you for your stay at the Malvahuisie... you were excellent guests <br/>... and such good behaved children.... The buzzyyyy one stole my <br/>heart... and the quiet one touched my heart with her little note/letter <br/>she left me. Thank you for your good review ... see you one day <br/>again... soon...   "We had a very pleasant and peaceful stay over at this quaint little cottage and will in future make this our point of call when next we overnight in De Rust. The cottage has recently been revamped but has retained that old world style. There has been an incredible amount of attention to detail in the fittings of the cottage. There is good on-premises parking.The owners were extremely friendly and made sure that we were comfortable."

Warm welcomes, peaceful atmosphere and definitely a must-stay-over on your bucket list. This small town (De Rust) and small cottage is filled with history, stories to be told and allows you time to unwind. It pulls you out of your everyday living and forces you to slow down and get rid of all your stress. A musta must.a must! And the Pink Elephant Restaurants fish and chips and curry fish was divine!
