"Shower needs attention

Dear Jon and Wendy Lewis

Many thanks for choosing Durbanvillestay for your recent stay and for
your feedback regarding the faulty shower head. The note that you left
enabled me to replace the shower head immediately, in time for the next
guests. I apologise for any inconvenience suffered and assure you that a
pleasant hot shower awaits you if and when you choose to visit us again.

Warm regards

Jaap Rothmann"

    06 August 2018

"We loved the privacy, safety and cleanliness, however, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, salt & pepper should be provided. The owner Jaap was friendly & helpful though to provide these when requested. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again."

  • "Wonderful!"

    10 July 2018

"Perfect place if you want something well priced where you can put your head down at night. Great if youre planning on spending all day out sightseeing!

Would have loved if there was a braai. But otherwise exactly what we needed.

Jaap is really sweet and we were very comfortable.

Establishment Response.
I must apologise profusely - we've got TWO braais, a Weber and an old
washing machine tub on legs, which works equally well as a braai. So
sorry, I should have mentioned it. I removed it because the previous
guests had a trailer, it was raining and the Weber was in the way. What
a pity, and the weather was so nice when you were here. Next time, and I
really hope there is a next time, I'll try not to slip up.

Many thanks for the great review!

All of the very best,"

  • "Accessibility to Durbanville at a cheaper rate"

    15 March 2017

"Having the kitchen wash-up sink outside was a little awkward. Also access to the double bed in the alcove is difficult as one person has to climb over the other to get in or out of bed."
