Ashtonville Terrace is a stately home built in the 1880's and has served as a loving home for over 100 years. We offer an eclectic mix of Victoriana meets Afro-chic, and all six en-suite rooms reflect the diverse colours of this beautiful part of South Africa.
Surrounding the homestead is a lush three acre sub-tropical garden, and a swimming pool where guests can cool down on those hot summer days and nights. Guest are treated to a three course full breakfast option in true English fashion.
Ashtonville Terraces is located in Estcourt, KwaZulu Natal, and what makes this town so accessible is the fact that it is on the apex of the Battlefields Route, The Drakensberg Experience and World Heritage Site, as well as the Midlands Meander. We are perfectly situated for a stopover where you can enjoy all the pleasures that country life has to offer.
"I was u def the impression this was a B&B but NO breakfast was included."
"A hairdryer in the room is a must. Rooibostee will also be a good idee. The mattress is in a bad condition. Parking also a problem."
"The noise in the area should come as a huge warning with being kept awake until almost 3am every night. The equipment needs a huge upgrade, and when promised a queen size bed it was far from it."
"Clean & comfortable accommodation"
