  "Stayed at the timber cottage for two nights. Warm and welcome contact with the owner. General overlook of the cottage was basic but clean, spacious and ligth. Kitchen is well equiped, has a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, ... . Seats are not very comfortable to sit in at the evening. Bedrooms have good beds to sleep in. In the shower there were a lot of mildew stains. That wasn't so nice. Close to Escourt center and shops. Very easy to reach from the N3. Nice and relaxing views when sitting on the terrace of the cottage."

  "The owner was fantastic and as we were running late even took the time to call and check on our progress and waited up for us to check in at 23h00. Accommodation was great and view in the morning wonderful. Wish I had more time to have stayed a couple extra days. May still return if back in SA."

  "What a lovely place to stay, fully equipped and in a tranquil peaceful area.<br/>Perfectly complete accommodation. Just sad we couldn't just stay longer.<br/>Great little stream running at the bottom of the garden, local birds and wildlife.<br/>We were there in August and plenty of blankets, heaters and electric blankets for those afraid of the cold.<br/>Didn't chance to braai but it was fully equipped.<br/>Highly recommended.<br/>Thanks you for a lovely stay.<br/>"

The living quarters are designed and decorated with taste and care. The hosts are helpful and amiable. We were offered better facilities than those we made the reservation, for the same price: the offer came from the hosts with no suggestion from us - the better accommodation was available at the dates of our stay and it was perfectly prepared."

  "We arrived at Old Beacon Hill at around 10:40 pm and were greeted with a friendly smile despite the time. The cabin is stylishly furnished with soft bedding. Old Beacon Hill even provided tea, coffee and milk which was a welcome surprise after the long trip. I would recommend this establishment to all my friends and family. Well done!"
