  • "Fantastic!"

    20 January 2012

"If you are looking for a beautifully decorated, big and cosy place within five minutes of the gorgeous Fish Hoek beach, this is your place! Not to speak of the huge terrace with a braai that lets you enjoy your South African beef, fish and game even more. We travelled with two toddlers and they loved the place right away. The owner lives right downstairs and helped us with every question we had. We would come back every time!"

  • "Well set up for families"

    23 October 2011

"We spent a week at Hillside Road with two families, including four kids under the age of seven. The house was very well set up for families and completely safe. A beautiful balcony with a wonderful sea view, with whales, and a small splash pool kept everyone happy. The bedrooms open off of the living room, so it is easy to keep an ear open for the kids in the evening. The house is well equipped with plenty of towels, soap, rubbish bags and more, which is appreciated when self catering. The landlady lives downstairs and is very helpful and discrete. It is necessary to have a car to get around. It is highly recommended and we will be back for another visit."
