Alcazaba Lodges caters to the discerning guests who want cleanliness and a personal touch - with no compromise in taste and services. Be it a business, family, leisure or a soul-searching trip, you are the ideal guest waiting to be pampered.
We have Bachelor, Couples, Business and Family Suites. Rooms include a kettle, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, a safe and complementary teas and coffees. Free Wi-Fi, DStv, air conditioning, breakfast hall, overnight secure parking, a business centre, a salaah room, laundry facilities, mini library and 3 floor lifts. We are the only building in Fordsburg with a generator capable of keeping the facilities permanently operative during power outages.
Guests get free medical and travel advice with our own doctor and - travel vaccines and medication at cost. Also, we are located very near to hospitals, including, Garden City, Milpark, Brenthurst, Parklane Clinic, Helen Joseph and the Johannesburg (Charlotte Maxeke) hospital. Newtown, Braamfontein and Mayfair are within walking distance. As is the Oriental Plaza and China City.

16 February 2016"<p>I booked at Alcazaba Lodge for a long weekend to attend a family wedding. Took my whole family including my Dad and sister and booked a Deluxe Family Room. Amazing comfort, friendly staff and modern furnishings and amenities.Vibrant neighborhood, that may seem intimidating at first but is lively for an evening jaunt. </p><p>The wifi was almost non existent, so hope this is improved. Definitely value for money and my new favorite place to stay in Johannesburg. </p>"
