49 Huguenot Street

This charmingly modernised cottage is situated in Franschhoek village and it offers two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and secure parking. The cottage is situated in a quiet area within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. Electric blankets, heaters and a fireplace are provided for winter and there are fans, air conditioning and a splash pool for the heat of summer. The spacious open-plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dish washer, washing machine and a tumble-dryer. From the front stoep you can enjoy views of the vineyards and mountains and the back stoep overlooks the small garden with mountains beyond.

"Have just enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in the gorgeous property of Liz Rundle at the amazing Huguenot mini town of Franschhoek. 49 is quite simply the best home from home we have ever rented in any part of the world and when you've reached our age, boy,you've seen a lot of rental promises. "What a great place to start a holiday: front porch, small garden cum patio at the back. Very well-equipped kitchen and living room. Everything comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. Many restaurants and wineries just down the road, even though 49 Huguenot Street itself is very quiet!"

"Two weeks of heaven! The house is very spacious. Extremely well equipped with a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher. Heaters everywhere. Aircon. Fireplace! Definitely 5 star. Walking distance from town center. Close enough to CT to do day trips. Ruth made sure that we were well looked after and was delightful! Thank you, we will be back!"

"It was a fantastic property. Everything was new - there was even a washing machine and dryer! There was a swimming pool outside which was fabulous on hot days. We loved it so much - we had booked three nights and then came back the following week again. The location is really good as well. The cottage is so well finished. We live in the UK and are planning to return next year."
