  "I needed a place to overnight and was not too fussy. Just as well. Oom Piet is situated in Fabriek Straat - that should explain everything. After parking in the designated parking area, and exiting your car, you are affronted with the wonderful aroma of fish meal emanating from the "fabriek" in the harbour close by.<div>This was ok - I suppose - but what really got to me was that the room smelt as though someone had just been cleaning fish in the bathroom. I stayed the night and vowed never to go back - you are warned ......</div>"

  "Was very nice. Our accommodation was awesome and Francois was very nice to us. Only thing I can remark on is the fish factory close by. A fish odour was around when the smoke blew in our direction. But I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet."

  "I would recommend Oom Piet to anyone who needs to break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our self catering unit had a breathtaking view over the Ocean, we watched the sun set, it was absolutely beautiful. The unit was neat and tidy, the bedding and towels was fresh, and there was a braai area and safe parking for our vehicle. Everything I needed was right there cutlery and pots for cooking even oven dishes. The people are extremely friendly; I was greeted with a smile. I loved everything about my stay and would like to say many thanks to the owners I will definitely come back. I really enjoyed my stay."
