Bay Breeze Guesthouse

We are a neat and quiet little Guesthouse with five rooms centrally situated in Gordon's Bay. All rooms are equipped with Hotel/Guesthouse DStv access.

There is also a fully equipped kitchen available for all guests if needed. We offer a comfortable, homely and cosy environment with friendly and helpful staff. We are also close to the beach. Suitable for families and people passing through that need a warm bed and shower for the night; to get up early for the long road ahead. Perfect for holiday getaway!

Whether you would like to soak up the sun on well-known Bikini Beach, take a boat trip from the harbour or enjoy a meal in one of the many beachfront restaurants, you'll find it all just minutes' walk away.

Gordon's Bay is a charming and relaxing town nestled at the foot of the well-known Helderberg Mountains. It has its own unique hiking trail all the way along the mountainside overlooking the ocean. It is the gateway to the second-most scenic route in South Africa, and is only 30 minutes from the Cape Town International Airport and 45 minutes from the famous V&A Waterfront. Stellenbosch and the Winelands are only 25 minutes away.

"Although we enjoyed our stay, we were not sure how Sundays work.We booked for 3 days, 14, 15 and 16 July 2017.The room was not made up on Sunday and no toiletries were replaced.We consequently ran out of toilet paper as we were only supplied with it on Friday when we arrived.They should also sort out the motor on the gate, as it takes forever to close and this was very unsafe and frustrating."

"We stayed at Bay Breeze early January. Sterna was very accommodating in allowing us to stay for a short period over New Years, and in putting an extra bed in the room. Thank you! All communication was also dealt with very efficiently. The room was spotless and tastefully furnished; the beds and lounge furniture were extremely comfortable. The WiFI was also appreciated My only criticism, is that the website blurb says all linen and towels provided, so we didn't bring towels, and when I asked about beach towels, I was told only room towels are provided, not beach towels. So we had to go out and buy, when we could have just brought with us."

"We contacted Sterna in advance to enquire about our caravan that also needed to overnight. Sterna assured us there would be space. She even helped us park the caravan and minivan. She was very helpful and friendly. Our stay was peaceful in a clean, modern environment. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance."

"We only spent one night here, but more would have been good. The rates are all right, and we got a clean, tidy bedroom with a nice en suite bathroom. The bed was ultra comfy and they let us relax in the lounge for hours after check-out time when our transport was delayed... on a public holiday too! The rooms are relatively soundproof, which is always a plus. Negatives: Strict no-smoking policy and prominently christian. "

"The room I was given at Bay Breeze Lodge did not resemble the foto in the least! It was a badly converted garage with practically no furniture and very bad lighting. I would not recommend it to anybody!"
