Camdeboo Cottages

Camdeboo Cottages comprises nine self-catering cottages which are all national monuments, situated in the heart of historical Graaff-Reinet. These cottages form a secluded courtyard with covered carports, a swimming pool and a garden. There are also additional 7 en-suite rooms with French Doors, opening up onto a veranda near the swimming pool.

Bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation is provided and a variety of evening meals are also available, with dinners being served in the cottages or on the veranda next to the swimming pool. All cottages offer air-conditioning, electric blankets in winter, en-suite bathrooms, televisions with selected DStv, fully equipped kitchens, and coffee and tea-making facilities.

Tours on offer to nearby highlights such as the Valley of Desolation or Game Viewing in the Camdeboo National Park.

"Clean, comfortable and cool (which was important on a day which reached 37 degrees). On arrival staff were welcoming and friendly and we felt right at home. There's a lot to do in the areas and the unit will be just a good for a longer stay as it was for an over-nighter."

  • "Fabulous"

    15 February 2013

"An absolutely fabulous time. The only fault that we could find was that the sitting cum dining room was dark and uninviting. This is a small thing. For the rest of the stay all was great. Staff were helpful, food was great, swimming pool was clean and cared for"
