"James is the most wonderful, free spirit host we ever met. Our room was more than we expected. We received such warm and friendly service. It felt like we were at home, and the staff were friendly and very cheerful. Thanks to James and his support staff for a wonderful and memorable stay in Cape Town. Needless to say, Cheviot Place is now our favourite guesthouse and we shall make it our regular place whenever in Cape Town. Thanks James and Co."

"From the moment we arrived at Cheviot Place Guest House James made us feel at home. It was clean and comfortable and the personal service was top notch.<br/>Help with local restaurants and advice on taxis etc resulted in us eating with the locals rather than the tourists and we would not change a thing (we even made friends with the neighbours across the road and will keep in touch).<br/><br/>Many thanks James, we will tell our friends. <br/>"
