Hooggelegen Lodge

Hooggelegen Lodge is situated in the Northern Cape between Upington, Griekwastad and Prieska. It is an excellent overnight stay or stop for tourists on their way to Boegoebergdam, Witsand, Augrabies Falls, Namaqualand or Namibia.

The dcor in the lodge has been acclaimed by all as warm and interesting. The valuable antique furniture is a unique collection adored and admired by many. With our well-known hospitality, guests will enjoy their stay and visit us again.

The lodge consists of 24 beautiful rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have white percale linen, tea and coffee facilities, split unit air-conditioning, heating and TVs.

Our fully licensed restaurant and coffee shop has a wonderful warm atmosphere with lamps, candles and lovely music. The large circular fireplace that extends from the restaurant to the bar creates a homely atmosphere.

"No it is a bad organization! Sent 4 emails because I had to cancel due to Covid 19. The organization has never responded to my emails and has never refunded the money, so be careful with booking with this organization !!!"

"Please note that we didnt have any hot water in room 21 and 22. It was very cold and we decided not to have a bath. The beddings were inadequate as it was a very cold night"
