"A wonderful quiet setting on the edge of George, with a fabulous garden and tremendous views for this excellent B&B. Directions were perfect. Mary and Roger were very friendly and welcoming, and we loved their cats! The room was spacious and very well appointed, with some nice additional touches - like the nibbles. Breakfast was extremely good - with plenty of coffee! Many thanks!!"

"Hi Roger & Mary,We enjoyed our stay and will advise any friends who are going to visit George to make sure they book into your excellent guest house. We found it to be superb and very relaxed. Hope the tortoise that Trevlyn rescued from the pool is still alive and kicking. I checked and they are known to enjoy water, however I do not think they are meant to go for the S.A.diving record. We will most certainly re visit for next years IRB 7s and base ourselves at 4 ways for the extra days we spend in the area.Have a wonderful Christmas & New Year.Best Regards, Mike & Trevlyn Roebuck."

    27 November 2007

"Wonderful location with mountain views, modern, clean, very spacious accommodation with thoughtful extra touches that astounded! Crisp cotton bathrobes awaited us and the varied food and drink 'Welcome Pack' was indeed welcome! Mary and Roger were friendly and attentive hosts who found nothing too much trouble. Breakfast choice was fresh and varied each morning and Mary's scrambled eggs were second to none! If we had paid double the charges we could not have been any more satisfied - we would return tomorrow if we could."

"Roger and Mary welcomed me like an old friend even though it was the first time that I stayed at Fourways. Needless to say I have left as a friend. They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The venue is also rated as a three star but my rating is a five star. The position of this house is one of note. The mountain is diifferent everyday and since it is a cul de sac it was so tranquil and it is worth mentioning it. Well done Roger and Mary. I enjoyed my stay."

  • "Excellent B&B with an eye for detail"

"It's always a lottery to book "blind", but in this case reality surpassed our expectations. Luxury with the customer wishes in mind, that's how the rooms have been outfitted with four separate rooms per unit (bedroom, living room/kitchen unit, bathroom/shower and toilet). All beautifully done, no expenses spared. Breakfast was equally superb. Highly recommended.George Dikker HupkesLe ChatelardPortes en Valdaine, France"
