ArtistCafe

ArtistCafe is an old railway station which has been converted in to a restaurant and guest house. The old Station Masters house was converted into the restaurant and the Main Station building is a guest house. We have four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Surrounded by natural rain forests and pine and bluegum plantations, the ArtistCafe heralds its history from the early 1920s when it was built as a train station. After many years, the station fell into disuse and was then revived as a guest house and internationally acclaimed, award winning Italian trattoria.

    "This is a hidden treasure. We stayed here for two nights and we were sad that we had to leave. The location is beautiful and special. Rooms are in the old station building of Henriksdal and are a delight. The hospitality of is one with a big "H". The food is excellent. We hope to be back soon. Doreen, Maurits and Patricia made us feel very welcome. The artist cafe is also a perfect location to do a day trip to for example, God's Window and Blyde Rivier Canyon."
