We have been graded 3 Star by Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, are members of Midlands Meander Arts & Crafts Route, and members of Midlands B&B association and National Accommodation Association.

Brookdale Cottages are situated in the heart of the village of Hilton which is nestled in the hills above Pietermaritzburg. Conveniently situated to the N3 national road.

Three charming, tastefully decorated, thatched cottages named Rose, Bramble and Briar Cottages which are set around the swimming pool in a pretty country garden. We offer B&B and fully equipped self-catering with barbeque & braai areas. Each cottage has radio, television with MNet, heaters, electric blankets and down duvets for those cold winter nights, fans for the summer, hair dryers and ironing facilities.

Two wetland areas which abound with bird life are within easy walking distance. Hilton has two small shopping centres and restaurants, vintage steam train museum at the historic Hilton Station. Hilton College, St Annes College and Cedara Agricultural College are only a short distance away.

We are a 15 minute drive from Cascades, Pietermaritzburg where the UCI MTB World Cup is being held.
