  • "Finding the Inn"

    25 November 2013

"The directions on the Cheetah Inn web site are not very clear and there are NO sign posts in the Klaserie area, thus we struggled to find the Inn.Although we only stayed 1 night, it was very enjoyable - the accommodation was good, the food was good and the swimming pool was very welcome on a hot day."

  • "bad service"

    25 September 2013

"the place was not clean and when we ask them to clean they told us that what do we expect because we are paying R300 per person. The owners together with their son are not friendly and i wouldn't recommend anyone to that place"

  • "Great place to stay"

    07 September 2013

"I recently had a very pleasant 6 night stay in a rondavel here. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the surrounding area picturesque and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing information on nearby amenities. The location was ideal for visiting Hoedspruit and nearby amenities by car. We visited Moholoholo rehab centre, Jessica the hippo and the Blyde river canyon among other things. The wifi in he reception building worked well."

  • "Nice stay"

    02 August 2013

"The place is beautiful, and the rooms quiet, wide and comfortable. We had a delicious South African dinner (with starter, main course and dessert) prepared by our host. The place is teeming with wildlife. One even has to be cautious at nightfall. We loved our stay. The only problem we had was in finding the place. No signposts to help."

  • "Clean rooms"

    25 June 2013

"The rooms were very clean but the swimming pool was very dirty, we had to clean it before swimming. The breakfast was horrible, stale bread we couldn't eat it. Out of 10 I can rate Cheetah Inn 4.<br></br><b>Establishment's response</b><br></br><i>This group was here end of December, weather was bad and of course leaves and stuff blows in the swimming pool. Our gardeners first priority every morning is to clean the pool. Unfortunaly these things happens when you have an outdoor swimming pool in the bush.<br></br>All our food is daily fresh, nothing from a jar, can or box, including the bread. Thats what the minority of our guest prefer. We serve the bread toasted, finally on the last day of their stay we were informed that they liked untoasted bread better.<br></br>Unfortunately if you do not allow guest destroying interior parts and do not want your guest to misbehave, a lodge owner get bad reviews and the guest take towels etc. home<br></br> Greetings,<br></br>Peter Cheetah Inn</i>"

  • "Wonderful accommodation with very helpful owners and staff"

    10 June 2013

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cheetah Inn. The rondavels were very nice and cozy with a huge bathroom. The owners could give us a lot of ideas on what to visit so we could explore the beautiful surroundings. The Cheetah Inn is some kilometres away from Hoedspruit in the middle of the veld. At nighttime the sky is definitely worth watching and the sunsets are breathtaking behind a mountain! Also the breakfast was very good, a small something to start a good day with. Also the swimming pool looked nice though it was too cold to use it. Oh and you can easily relax in one of the many hammocks. Definitely worth it!"

  • "What a surrounding"

    20 April 2013

"If you want a natural lodging this is a must to go! What a surrounding! Nice and very friendly Hosts. We felt safe and we were happy. We will come back whenever we come back to SA. An olympic sized pool in the middle of nature. Thank you so very much!!"

  • "Great stay!"

    16 April 2013

"This was one of our most enjoyable stays in a Guest House! The owners are devoted to their work and friendly and helpful at all times. I would recommend the Cheetah Inn to anybody that would like to enjoy a few quiet days in nature."

  • "Peaceful"

    10 January 2013

"Although we only stayed over night, we found the accommodation to be satisfactory. The couple who own Cheetah Inn are hospitable, friendly and try their best to make their visitors feel at home. They are In the process of renovating the Inn. It is peaceful, has a lovely swimming pool and the food was delicious."

  • "Cheetah Inn"

    03 January 2013

"For the rates paid this was a fair offering. It is not comparable with normal hotels though and should be seen as basic accommodation that is clean. The breakfast that was included in the rate was a simple affair of youghurt and muesli, toast, jam, margarine, two slices of cheese and ham, coffee and juice, but this is still acceptable considering the rates. The room was clean and air conditioned but had no facility to make own coffee or keep cold drinks cold. I would visit again as a single person because these basic conditions I experienced are not determining whether a place is acceptable to me or not. In short, nothing really off-putting experienced there."

  • "Fantastic"
