Our central location means that you are ideally placed to explore everything that the Garden Route has to offer. Acquaint yourself with the beautiful bird life of the region or stretch your legs on one of the many hiking trails. Children of all ages are more than welcome.

"Family Holiday in the Wilderness"
17 December 2014"Hildesheim self catering worked out perfectly for our family holiday with a fully equipped unit yet privately situated. There is a pool and garden for the children to play in. Tony and Vanessa are very kind and friendly hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The Wilderness is a great place for a family holiday. The beaches are amazing with long stretches of white sand. There are life guards on duty, parking and toilet facilities. The restaurants are a fantastic surprise with award winning dishes and super friendly service. Wilderness is smack between Knysna and George with walking and cycling trails, numerous activities and abundant wildlife with Wetlands all around. All in all an excellent place for an awesome holiday"

Our hosts were not only very polite, but also extremely helpful in making our 1st anniversary celebration special with a subtle touch. Hildesheim is set in a quiet, picturesque location with striking views. Our room was spacious and had all the facilities we needed. We were greatly pleased with our stay and would definitely return in the future."
