Palace Flophouse

Come and enjoy the serene peace and fresh sea air while staying at the Flophouse, a fully furnished, self-catering timber cottage.

The cottage accommodates up to five guests. The unit has one bedroom with a double bed, a shared bathroom, an open-plan kitchen for self-catering, and a living area with a bunk bed and a single bed. The accommodation is basic, yet comfortable.

The Flophouse is only 300 m from the sea and you can enjoy a reasonable view of the Atlantic Ocean from the deck. Your closest neighbors are approximately 30 m from the Flophouse, ensuring your stay to be private and quiet.

The area is a popular holiday destination for locals and features various scenic dives and circular routes which is especially spectacular during the flower season. Fisherman can also try their hand at crayfish diving; permits need to be obtained when in season.

"As weskus inboorlinge het ons ook nou al die stad se kieskeurige maniere aangeleer, maar julle het aan al ons behoeftes en verwagtinge voldoen. Die huisie was puik en goed ingerig, ons het sommer dadelik tuis gevoel. Ek weet nie hoe ‘n mens die weskus gasvryheid in een word kan beskryf nie, maar dit was hemels. Dankie, julle sien ons weer. Despite being west coast natives, we have, like most, learnt the finicky ways of the city, but you guys met all our expectations. The place was outstanding and well equipped, we felt at home immediately. I don't know how to describe west coast hospitality in one word - heavenly? Thank you, you will see us again."
