"I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable especially seeing as I had to spend my first night alone at the B&B. We were well looked after, well fed - breakfast was served as we requested and advice as to what to see and where to have supper was readily given."
"Had such a wonderful time. The room was clean and well kept and the couple running the B&B are so friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!"
"Have stayed here a number of time, and Linken and Grahame are friendly and accommodating. Will be staying again in he near future - thanks"
"Clean and very hospitable"
"We thought that we were booking into a B&B, but were rather hosted in a family home. Grahame and Linken's B&B is magical and closely knit, you completely feel at home when you there. For us, we feel as if we went to go and visit family members, it really is the only place to go and stay when you in Howick."

"It was basic but had everything we needed, attended by owners. If you are looking for good value, this is a good option."
"We had our first nights stay over at 40 Fraser St. and it was fabulous. This was our first stop over on our honey moon and was greeted by a bottle champagne and chocolates. The hospitality was just great and could have not been better, and to top off with a fantastic breakfast in the morning. House keeping was also excellent and was met with a spotless suite.Definitely a must when in Howick!"
"A charming home set in a beautiful garden with many birds. A worthwhile stay over. We had the honeymoon suite which was lovely with it's balcony overlooking the garden and a place to watch the sun go down.Ann Meager"
"Thank you very much to the owner for staying up to wait for our late check in. Service and breakfast was very good. There was just no heater in the kids room, so we ended up putting them in bed with us. Would be nice if that room got a heater too."
"Enjoyed it very much, was received very friendly way, will stay there again. Felt like home from home. And will highly recommend to family and friends looking for place to stay in Howick."
"No private entry to the rooms but everything was clean. Howick had a lot of rain recently and the driveway needs maintenance. The walkway from the shade parking was muddy and could do with a bit of gravel. All rooms are within the main house and all share a common lounge. If you need privacy you are limited to your room which can be a bit claustrophobic. Not bad value for money if everything is considered. For us it will always be a stop-over/overnight option."
"Convenient but overall disappointing due to outstanding maintenance issues. Hosts were hospitable but overall impression was on the poor side."
"We had a great time! Thank you for a pleasant stay."
"Friendly and extra mile people....room and everything within spotless. Breakfast a winner."

"What a lovely little place; home-away-from-home. Such a friendly atmosphere and Grahame and Linken are the perfect hosts. Very clean and tidy and the breakfast was divine. We will definitely go back."
"Nice and clean. Will recommend."

"It was enjoyable, would just have appreciated a TV in the room, a bit awkward to watch it with the hosts in the same lounge. In the description that point must just be made a bit more clear. Otherwise a most enjoyable stay. Very friendly and kind."

"Linken greeted us on arrival - the room was pretty and clean with a gorgeous HUGE bath and towels. Complementary sparkling wine and sherry was a lovely touch. The room was warm and cosy - despite it being mid-winter and we enjoyed the quiet broken only by an owl hooting nearby..The breakfast was lovely - simple but substantial and the hot coffee was very welcome. Both Linken and Graham were warm and friendly but not intrusive and their dog, Whiskey, a real character! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - unfortunately it was just too short - and we would recommend this B&B to anyone seeking hospitality in Howick!"
