40 b Overnight Accommodation

40 b Overnight Accommodation is situated in the peaceful village of Humansdorp. The town has made it onto the map, so to speak, more as a gateway to the coastal villages of Jeffreys Bay and Cape St Francis, than as a destination in its own right.


We have four rooms; the Bougainvilla is a single room with a single bed and a bathroom with a shower; the room has an interleading door with the Lily Room. The Lily Room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette and a separate entrance. The Ebenhaezer has a double bed and a sleeper couch; the room has a separate entrance with a lounge and kitchenette. Xmasrose has twin beds; an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette with a separate entrance. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, bar fridges, fans, heaters and TVs. There is no smoking in the rooms and they all have views of the garden.


The town itself has a rather surprising eco-sustainable building as its cultural centre at the top of Main Street, where traditional San art is exhibited. The Zwartenbosch Golf Club is worth a round of golf and Humansdorp functions as a base for those who want to explore the incredible Baviaanskloof Wilderness and the Tsitsikamma Forests which are both accessible from here.
