Ravenswyk Country House

If you are looking for a family holiday without all the stresses of packed beaches and busy towns, then Ravenwyke Country House will give you just that. Situated in the southern midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, this beautiful house is situated in a large garden with the most spectacular view of the Southern Drakensberg.

The house has seven bedrooms with three en-suite bathrooms and an extra communal bathroom. Four of the rooms have queen-size beds, whilst two have twin three-quarter beds and the main room has a king-size bed.

There are two lounges and a dining room with three indoor fireplaces for those winter nights. The kitchen is fully fitted with a cold room for storage and a pantry. There is DStv available, you just need to bring your decoder and smart card.

There is an entertainment area that has a bar with a separate toilet, and a dart board and tennis table. For the youngsters there is a full jungle gym and sandpit and a large swimming pool with a safety net.

We have two bass dams that are full and a catch is guaranteed. The house is surrounded by an electric fence and an armed guard is on duty at all times.

Activities in and around the area include birdwatching, fly fishing, hiking, quad biking and canoeing or kayaking.
