"This is truly the worst experience, deceptive advertising at its best or should I say worst. Rooms are horrendous, dirty paint peeling, filthy linen. I would suggest that they be removed from all booking websites. Staff are unprofessional this establishment rates - 99. Shut it down. Nonsense... Pictures to follow."

"The rooms were clean and spacious. The only thing I was not happy about was when I opened the tap to bath and sand came out the tap and also there was no hot water coming out. They need to put up visible signage because if we hadn't gone to the lodge in the morning we would have struggled to find it at night. There aren't options for breakfast in the area so they should consider including it."

"I've never experienced such a terrible, disgusting, pathetic stay in my entire life. I booked for an executive room but I was allocated a very low cost room with a broken toilet and the room was stinking like shit. I will never book at Lapa lodge again, never."

"The staff at the lodge was very friendly and helpful, I guess the place was not yet ready for operation, the space provided in the room was very cramped, it was a struggle to open the door going into the bathroom, since the door was blocked by the bed. The room was very very dirty. I don't know how to explain that. If drastic measures are not put in place to improve level of cleanliness, that would not make me a returning guest or even recommend the establishment to my friend and business associates frequenting the area."
