  "Had an awesome stay. Peaceful surroundings. Friendly staff. Was just wondering why on the first night only the fireplace was lit and sufficient wood was supplied to keep it going. And the next two nights we couldn't light the remaining 3 logs because we had nothing to get it going with. We arrived at 1am on Sunday morning and it was freezing. For the rest of our stay everything was perfect. The food is delicious and of excellent quality. Thank you!"

  "We booked an executive chalet at The Blades for our anniversary. What a pleasant experience. From our arrival we were treated like royalty. Welcome drinks were offered and when we were taken to our room, all our expectations were met. The room service picnic table alongside the fireplace was a real treat with divine food and champagne. The breakfast the next morning was superb! Thanks for making this a very memorable, pleasant experience for us. We appreciate it. We'll tell all our friends about The Blades and recommend to them to visit you."
