"We arrived as it was growing dark after a long day's drive through the Transkei and were given a warm welcome by our hostess. She had family staying and, after showing us to our spacious wing of the house, left us in the very capable hands of her two staff members. They provided us with an excellent roast chicken dinner and cooked breakfast in the lounge area, looking out onto the lovely garden. It is a super location and we would have liked more time to explore the area."
"Loved the friendly dog and cats. Fireplace was a winner!"
"It wasn't what I had in mind and I'll be very glad if there can be TVs in the rooms.I liked the quiteness and friendly staff."
"comfortable and clean farmhouse"
"Loved the novelty of sleeping in an igloo! Everything one needs was supplied."
"Our house was an old kind of iglo which needs a complete improvement. Not the kind of accomodation we will live in !"
"We enjoyed our stay."
"Wonderful place surrounded by stunning landscapes, unfortunately only there for one night!"
"Wow arrived after 8pm to 2 x Staff Members waiting to assist with luggage. Inside we found a roaring fire in the lounge and all the beds had the electric blankets on and the beds all toasty. Congratulations Cheryl and Staff for a excellent stay and if we are in the area for another Race will stay again.i"
"Not impressed at all. Slept in an igloo type dome. Limited space and kitchen area and utensils not very clean. Hosts not involved."
"Room we booked could not be used as carpets were wet from cleaning. We were assigned part of their house to stay in. Two single beds. There was a bit of a smell in the water. The host tried her best to please us and the servants were very willing. The owners cats and dogs slept all over the furniture and the fowls and chickens came into the room."
"Can't fault the warm welcome! Quality, comfortable beds - guaranteed a good night's sleep with no streetlights and farm peacefulness. Ann and her staff can't do enough to be helpful - right down to washing my son's cricket team's kit for me! Beautiful garden and farm views - great place to chill out. If you travel to Kokstad and don't want to stay in town, this would be the place!"
