  "A very friendly Proprietor. The accommodation in my opinion should not be in the category of Bed and "BREAKFAST" as "breakfast" was either rusks or cereal. As far as bedding is concerned the room that we occupied, in our humble opinion, can certainly be refitted with a new mattress as the one on which we slept was lumpy but believe the inner springs have known better days a long time ago. Please view this as positive criticism."

  "While we did not stay in the Old House and Breakfast B&amp;B, we stayed around the corner at Sam's Place. This was the most honest and considerate treatment I had ever received in a guest house or B&amp;B. Sam and Mathew went out of their way to accommodate all our needs and even went over and above that by continually surprising us with little acts of kindness. If I had all the money in the world or were to be offered a holiday with my choice of any accommodation, I would head for Sam's place."

  "After a very long drive we arrived at Old House. What a lovely reception. Barbara was so friendly and helpful. We had some tea and then went to bed. The rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast was a feast and served on the stoep in view of the lovely garden. I can really recommend this guest house and if we ever have to travel to this area I would definitely stay here again."

  "My stay was very comfortable, the room was cosy, the breakfasts were good, and the hostess and her husband were friendly and helpful. The gardens too were beautiful, plenty of trees providing good shade, lovely expanse of lawn, and plenty of flowers and shrubs providing beauty and a barrier from the noise of the heavy traffic on the main road passing close by."

  "As guest are we supposed to apologise for not coming to eat breakfast early OR we are supposed to find the breakfast ready as long as we are still within the stipulated breakfast time. We were scolded like kids and told we dont have respect. The below can sum-up my experience:Unexpected, depressing, dusty, unhygienic, unappealing, I will never recommend the place to anyone, unless they want to have stress."

  "I needed a place to stay, close to krugersdorp hospital as I was going for an operation at 06:00 in the morning. I found accommodation at old house b&b, it was very convenient for me as transport was also available to take me to hospital. Suzan was very accommodating even if I did not eat breakfast.   "The Old House Bed and Breakfast is one of the most unique and quaint places I've ever had the priviledge to stay in. It was heartwarming and cosy. Our hosts were genuinely loving and caring people and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, at home and they helped make the experience for a toddler the best memory of his short life. I am happy to say that I will be back more often and encourage visitors to experience this venue. It is indeed a diamond in the rough."

  "This was truly the most pleasant guest house stay ever. Manicured gardens, beautiful facilities, beautiful room and en-suite with decor in great taste and abundance of hospitality. Truly home from home. The breakfasts were lovely and portions generous. The cherry on the cake was that most everything is home made and home grown. Barbara is a wonderful hostess."
