"Perfect location for a travel between Joburg and Durban, tents are nice and the food was great.Unfortunately the staff, specifically the rangers haven't got no passion for there job ....... they haven't understood that to be at the Springbok lodge is holiday and we have paid enough money to be entertained. Unfortunately the staff was not willing to give us (family with 2 kids) the time of our life ......."

  • "Very very good time"

    05 January 2009

"We stayed at Springbok Lodge in the Nambiti Reserve for 6 nights. The Lodge itself had an beautiful setting. The tents we very comfortable, not really tents more like a chalet with canvas walls. The staff were very friendly and rangers very knowledgeable. The reserve itself is in the early stages and is still settling down as they bring in more lions, cheetah and other animals. The views and surroundings are very good and even if its a slow day the views are enough to make you want to carry on. We had a very very good time and will be returning."

"We had a lovely time at Springbok - made even better by the fact that it was out of season and we had the place pretty much to ourselves which was great. Geraldine was a good host and the food was very good.Vicky was an excellent ranger and the game drives were great. The tents were exceptionally clean with good facilities. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Springbok and all at a very reasonable price - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend NAmbiti."
