The Big House in Kariba

The Big House in Kariba is a large thatched establishment, located a mere five minutes from the shore and conveniently close to the main shopping area, hotels, super tube for the kids and human watering holes.

The area is tranquil and quiet with plenty of game around, especially elephant and zebra. Buffalo, warthog, hippo and impala are some of the other animals seen here, but are a bit more elusive.

Nestled on top of a hill with Lake Kariba views, the house is ideal for large family holidays. The living room is in a spacious open-plan layout, with a large veranda leading off from the living room with a lounge area and a dining table. The lounge is equipped with air-conditioning, a 42' flat screen TV, full DStv and wireless broadband.

The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances, such as a stove, fridge, freezer and microwave. Braai stands and cooler boxes are included in the kitchen, while in the bedrooms all crockery, cutlery, bedding and towels are supplied. There is also a large swimming pool, ideal for cooling off from the Kariba heat, and an outside braai area.

The house has its own borehole and is secured behind an electric fence with electric gate. There is a double lock-up garage and parking for at least four more cars.
