  "Loved the helpfulness and friendliness as well as very close proximity to shops and eating places . The cane chairs in the room could do with a higher back :) ! A small self contained two plate oven stove combination in the kitchen would be a great addition but not critical as I think few people would cook in the unit and probably prefer using the microwave in the room"

  "We recently returned from PE and decided to sleep over in Bloem. I read the reviews on Helena's accommodation and decided to book and try. Well Done!!! The welcome was warm, the rooms are superb. They are clean, neat and tidy and just what you need to relax! Plus you can braai, what a bonus! Definitely a place to stay over."

  "I will not recommend this establishment to any touring group as the "house rules" are a bit draconian, If we had been informed that no talking and or socializing was allowed we would never have booked at Helena's. This establishment soured our stay in Bloemfontein."

  "Was pleasantly surprised to have found such a welcoming owner and great accomodation at such a good rate. Rooms were great, very clean and tidy. Very close to bloem centre and has a couple of restaurants 200 meters down the road. Owner was very kind and friendly which made the stay more enjoyable. Will definitely go back again."
