THIS VENUE CAN ACCOMMODATE 15 GUESTS (Sharing). Leeudoringstad was named after a particular type of thorn bush that grew in abundance near the Rietkuil dam on which the village was founded in 1920. The Wolwespruit Reserve is located 2 km from the town, on the banks of the Vaal River. Lapa (self-catering/venue hire and conferences - max 15) built-in braai, covered with sliding doors. Complete kitchen. Gas geysers. Emergency light with smoke detector units. Full back-up on all utilities such as water (10 000lt water tanks) and fully automated standby generator. Excellent security. Undercover parking. Beautiful garden with swimming pool. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, TV, air-conditioning, bar fridge and coffee station. Breakfast is a light self-help breakfast with cereals, coffee/tee and rusks. The property is spacious with a beautiful swimming pool. Leeudoringstad is a small and peaceful little town which is exactly what the tired and stressed-out city dweller needs to recuperate. The town is 30 km away from Wolmaransstad, 70 km from Klerksdorp and 50 km from Bothaville which is home to the annual Nampo Agriculture Show. Offers a real homely environment.

"Na 'n rit van Heidelberg af, het ons eers 'n verjaarsdagviering by Grootbosch bygewoon. Ons was behoorlik moeg en kon toe lekker ontspan in die rustige omgewing. Koffie en tee was beskikbaar en 'n ligte ontbyt. Dit was al wat ons nodig gehad het voor ons weer die lang pad terug aangepak het. Ons kan Leeudoringstad Gastehuis aanbeveel."

"Had a wonderful stay at the guest house as we were attending a wedding near by. Corne welcomed us and even allowed us to check in early. The place is very spacious and clean. Theres pets in the premise, so if you're not an animal lover, you might find this an issue. Theres a lovely spacious garden for you to sit and relax in. Breakfast is only cereal and youghurt, but since this was mentioned before hand, I didnt have an issue with it. I would definitely recommend this place."
