"The online photos paint a much better picture than the reality.None of the furniture was in good condition. The tap in the bathroom sink swivelled in its position. The toilet seat was delaminating. Pillow slips were markedand the duvet had holes. The tv signal disappeared in the middle of a programme. We enquired about breakfast but then we saw the dining room. And oh yes thousands of mosquitos but no sign of a mosquito coil or any other such devise. All in all it was terrible even taking into account the cost."
"1. Toilet in no 12 could not flush.2. Shower in no 11 hot water pipe blocked. Could not shower.3. No Toilet paper in 11."
"Maybe ok for one night overnight stay passing through, but not ideal holiday accommodation. I think the name Eden Country Inn is a bit misleading. On their website they state that they are just outside Little Brak - amidst a delightful country atmosphere. They are right by the busy N2 highway and the sound of cars whizzing past are not conducive to the "delightful country atmosphere" they boast of. The chalet rooms don't look like the picture and there was no proper bedding on our beds, save for bed covers, which smelled used (I eventually bought my own as they did not bring clean linen when I requested it). We battled to use the gas-stove and oven and ended up eating out for every meal, which proved to be costly. According to the room specs on the Safari website, there was an en-suite bathroom however our chalet did not have one. We had to ask for a kettle as our room did not have one. The childrens playground consisted of a rusty swing and seesaw - no jungle gym that I saw. The rooms are not serviced which we did not know upfront (Facilities brief says Room Service). And when we asked about laundry service, we were told to take our washing to the wishy washy up the road. We did not enjoy our stay. The whole atmosphere reminded me of the movies when people check into those budget "road side motels". We used Safari to book our road-trip type holiday and this was the only place out of 5 places that we stayed at that we felt what they say is not truly what you get."
