The rooms matched the details that were advertised and accommodated my family of 8 adequately. I would definitely utilize this establishment for our next visit to Langebaan."

  "As jy saans laat uit was is dit redelik ongenaam om terug te gaan omdat dit baie donker is. Daar is ook nog baie min huise. Behoort heerlik te wees as daar meer gastehuise / lodges is wat aan die gang is. Ons het ook tot op hede geen bewys ontvang dat ons betaal het vir die verblyf nie, alhoewel ons die geld kontant betaal het"

  "A group of us chose to stay at Langebaan Country Lodge for a short weekend break out of the city (Cape Town). Initially we found it very quaint and the host was accommodating, even letting us check in earlier and giving us a full tour.<br/>However, after being out for the day and returning we took more notice and realised the amenities were very basic. The rooms are stocked with the bare essentials. We were the only guests and we decided to use the communal entertainment area to braai and Jacuzzi; this was not appreciated by our host and she almost turned cold towards us. We were not rowdy and when we requested extra towels as we did not have enough in our chalet, it was not met with a welcoming answer but rather we felt as though she was questioning us. <br/>We felt the location was stunning and this place had heaps of potential with a bit of TLC. Great for a quiet, simple getaway."

  "My daughter stayed the evening with her boyfriend. She said the owner was very nice and accommodating. The house is surrounded by farms and has some lovely views. The room was clean and had everything they needed. My daughter said that she would gladly stay there again."

  "Watch out for the lack of small print, staying one night doesn't cost the rate of a one night's stay as advertised...so do get a quote first unless staying for more than one night for which I believe the advertised rates should apply.<div>Room size is nice and comfortably large with a small kitchenette and bathroom attached, although we stayed over for one night in June '16 and a rather unpleasant cold spell hit Langebaan making the room exceptionally cold. Extra blankets are available, however perhaps take more as no in-room heating is available.</div><div>Most probably this venue would be best used in summer, but otherwise quite pleasant.</div>"

  "From our arrival to our (very sad) departure Jo-Anne has been a formidable host. She is kind, generous, friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless with all the comfort one can hope for. We were able to enjoy a braai outdoors and on a windy evening, we could braai indoors with wonderful, clean, comfortable facilities. I highly recommend Langebaan Country Lodge and Jo-Anne's hospitality for anybody seeking a calm and relaxing weekend away or holiday. We left Langebaan Country Lodge with heavy hearts, but new friends and a wonderful tan."

  "Had a pleasant stay. Friendly hosts. Has everything you need in the unit. There is a stoep in front of the unit, very cute. The "kuier area" looks very cosy. We did not have time to relax there but will go back just to just for that (there is a jacuzzi as well)."

  "The Country Lodge has a cleen, paceful and not too expensive flatlet. We enjoyed our stay, but, being elderly people (3 of us), we understand that we could not enjoy the luxury and comfort that we are used to given the low cost. However, as we told the owner, given the advertisement as a "self catering" facility, we would expect the availability of a table inside (instead of an uncomfortable counter) and a stove. We learned afterwards that those things were available at "the deck", not in the flat itself. Since it was not indicated, we should have asked."

  "Dit was baie lekker om weg te kom uit die gejaag en rustig by julle kon afpak. Die kuiertjies in die aand was voorwaar 'n treffer, ek het dit baie geniet! Baie dankie vir julle gasvryheid!
