Rhebokskraal Olive Estate

At Rhebokskraal Olive Estate, accommodation is offered in a historical self-catering cottage, The Dove Cottage, which overlook the beautiful olive groves on the estate. Rhebokskraal Olive Estate is located only 2 km from the picturesque McGregor town. The cottage are fully equipped for self-catering, with bedding, towels and kitchen utensils.

An Olive Culture tour can be arranged on request, where guests can experience the groves, olive tasting and if you are lucky, a meal under the oak tree where we will entertain you on songs born on Rhebokskraal, or enjoy an olive meal at 41, the restaurant in the beautiful village of McGregor.

We also host a few horses on Rhebokskraal and you will meet them in the olive groves. They love to be touched and Ilana, will accompany you. Rides can be arranged if booked in advance.

  • "Rustic holiday unit"

    20 June 2016

"Volkshuisie is a well-appointed, but RUSTIC unit (there are 2 attached to each other) between olive trees. It has a fire place inside, and a portable braai for outside. However, no equipment to chop wood (that you can buy at their shop in town), nor braai tongs to handle the wood or grill, or any other equipment usually associated with a braai or fire place, were available. We are very low maintenance people, so the lack of sharp knifes for cutting purposes did not bother us too much (there was one usable steak knife available), nor the lack of proper wine glasses. We did however expect a bit more luxury for the price (compared to places in Paternoster for example), and although it is a beautiful setting I would not recommend it for people with kids, or people used to their creature comforts."
