The Ridge Guest House

The Ridge Guest House in Richards Bay comprises 20 bedrooms which have access to the sun-drenched pool area and have spectacular views of the ocean and harbour. 12 rooms are on the ground floor, and 8 rooms are on the upper floor (one of which is our luxury room on the end). All the rooms also have their own en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, DStv, Wi-Fi Internet access, Safes and tea and coffee facilities. Should you need to have laundry done, we also have a laundry service that runs daily.

Guests are served a full English breakfast each morning, and our in-house restaurant and bar also cater for lunch and dinner daily. Alternatively, you can have the option of enjoying a meal at one of the restaurants on the main waterfront.

The beach and 18-hole golf course is within walking distance and you can also easily access St Lucia and the Umfolozi-Hluhluwe game reserve. Our friendly staff are here to accommodate you and make your stay feel like home away from home.

"My granddaughter and I stayed one night here to recoup from 24 hours of flying to South Africa. We were pleased to find the accommodations very comfortable, good food, and a nice view of the bay. The staff were terrific; they helped us obtain the proper electrical adapter (we brought the wrong one) and also helped us contact our USA cell phone service in the U.S.when we experienced problems.<div><br /></div><div>Manager and Staff: thank you for the excellent service.</div><div><br /></div>"

"The Guest House is nice with great views and very welcoming with the pool (always clean) just outside the room. The rooms are a little to compact but manageable. The restaurant is a bit pricey but nice. We had to ask a lot of favours from the kitchen and the kitchen staff was a great help 10/10 as we travelled with little kids. We would most definitely come back and explore Richards Bay a little more as there is plenty to experience."
