Nestled in the quiet seaside suburb of Melkbosstrand, this cosy yet spacious house gracefully merges all the atmosphere of a West Coast beach house with modern family-friendly, self-catering convenience. Die Skulphuis is situated within walking distance of the beach, has limited sea views from the deck, and offers self-catering accommodation to corporate, holiday and weekend guests for up to six people.
The house comprises three comfortable double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern open-plan kitchen, a dining room, and a comfortable family room with an HD flat screen TV, DVD player, and satellite channels. Guests can relax on the wooden deck leading off the family room, whilst listening to the sounds of the ocean and seagulls.

It is the perfect setting for an intimate picnic or a relaxing sundowner, and since Melkbos is a westerly-facing beach, you can also watch the sun melt into the Atlantic Ocean.

05 January 2023"An great experience staying at the Skulphuis for 10 days. It is fully equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. Additional bedding and towels was great and even beach towels for everybody was available. Less than 2min walk from the sea makes it perfect for having your morning coffee or sundowner on the beach and watching the sunset . The house was well maintained and having a washer and dryer was such a bonus! Build in braai made the stoep the perfect place and we had all our meals there.Would recommend this property and would definitely go back there for a visit if in the area. The owners were very friendly and helpful, available at all times should the need be there.Highly recommended."

03 December 2013"My girlfriends and I needed a home away from home to stay whilst they visited me from Durban. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely beachy feel to this pristine holiday home. We spent sunsets on the beach which was only a few steps away and braaied on the very social patio whilst waving to the neighbours. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely hire The Skulphuis again."
