  • "Our stay was very pleasant"

    04 July 2010

"A complimentary bottle of sparkly on arrival, friendly service. Got a great deal through SafariNow, much cheaper than the published price on their website. Peech is really lovely, room looked like it needed a little TLC. Stained carpet, chipped paint on the wall, etc. Not proper four star, but maybe it is because it is off season, and they are busy fixing. Lovely library and reception areas. Will definitely go back again."

  • "Judy and Dave from New York"

    23 January 2006

"This is our second stay at The Peech and we hope to return for many more visits to this wonderful hotel. The location is great, the staff professional and attentive, the hotel decor just lovely. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. We highly recommend the restaurant. The included breakfast menu is varied with choices to suit everyone's tastes and the dinners, we had two, were delicious. (Mussels are yummy!) Great chef! The grounds are lovely and the free Wi-Fi is a much appreciated ammenity. Thanks to James Peech and his great staff for making our return to Jo'burg a comfortable and memorable stay.Judy and Dave, NY"

"The atmosphere, ambiance etc is excellent. However we found the service slightly lacking - especially the breakfast on Saturday morning - we waited an extremely long time for our breakfast and toast.Other than that - excellent.p.s. perhaps you could plant a huge oak tree to block the view from planet fitness..."
